VIDEO | Odisha: On allegations of eligible voters being targeted for deletion from electoral rolls, Chairperson of Bhadrak Municipality Gulmaki Dalawazi Habib says, “Currently, the SIR work is progressing very smoothly, and everyone is actively cooperating. However, during this process, an issue regarding Form 7 came to our attention. Under this provision, if a person is absent or not residing in the area for any reason, anyone can file an objection to their inclusion in the voter list. In our region, specifically in areas with a high Muslim population, complaints have been filed against around 100 to 200 people per polling booth. All these complaints were filed by a single individual who doesn’t even belong to that locality.”

The government is rewarding corruption instead of ensuring accountability!

Last night, the Education Secretary was transferred. He was replaced by an IAS officer from the Animal Husbandry Department who has severe multi-crore corruption charges against him.

The entire crisis around paper leaks and NEET was about systemic corruption. Replacing one bureaucrat with another facing serious corruption allegations is a direct INSULT to young people across India.

Is this the "compromise" the government expects us to accept? This is not accountability. We will not stop until Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigns ✊
