Left: Theresa May, "Brexit Means Brexit"
Right: Sunday Times, "Suspend border checks for Britons this summer, airline tells EU"
Your reminder that on On Nov 30th 2017, when the UK was still in the EU, the UK government (as part of the EU Council, where it still had a seat and vote on legislation) voted to adopt Regulation (EU) 2017/2226, which established the EU Entry/Exit System (EES)
This is a biometric border system requiring the collection of fingerprints and facial images from non-EU (“third-country”) nationals entering the Schengen Area
Such is the love of queues for Brits, that before we left the EU we voted to make queues for Brits wanting to visit the EU 🤷♂️
🚨 DISGUSTING: Epstein survivor Liz Stein exposes the DOJ's massive coverup. She confirms the files are full of names and financial records, yet the Trump administration is blatantly lying, claiming there are no leads.
She reveals the DOJ is actively protecting the elite!
These days I’m at a loss for words. The new corruption scandal is just bananas. Trump has been using inside information to trade stocks and make millions. And the scale of the trading is just mind blowing.
Here’s what we know.
Yesterday Israel ordered the inhabitants of Nabiteh to leave (population of 100,000) They then ordered the inhabitants of Tyre to leave (pop of 200,000). Now they've ordered the entire south to leave - up to 300 towns & villages.
@AlexCrawfordSky reporting from Lebanon today
‘My phone was hacked by the Kremlin who exposed the £5m bung no-one is supposed to know about’ is certainly an interesting new angle..
I wonder if the journalist involved has broken any other major scandals? 🤔
Oh!
And just like that, it’s completely VANISHED from the media.
A sitting congressman, Ted Lieu, said on the record the Epstein files are being blocked because they show Trump raped and threatened to kill children.
Lets make this viral again 👇
@supertanskiii found the clip of Farage explaining how politicians exploit the system by hiring their wives…
So here’s the follow-up. 👇
Years later, Farage is confronted over doing exactly that himself hiring his own European wife as secretary.
His excuse?
“No British person would do the job.”
While spending years attacking European workers.
This interview is an absolute car crash.
Farage, with a very different accent, explaining how to exploit and profit from the very same system that he claimed to rail against.
Including using one’s wife to account for financial irregularities.
Well, it apparently works when trying to explain away house purchases, eh?
Britain suffers from multiple, overlaid, menacing inequalities that are soluble given the will, as an exhaustive 6 year review argues. It has received too little political or media attention. We’re now seeing the dark political dimensions of Britain... https://t.co/0DjTrHn6xu
Thatcher called bin Laden a 'freedom fighter', Mandela a 'terrorist', Pinochet a 'good friend' and trade unions 'the enemy within'. And Jimmy Savile 'Sir'.
Victoria Derbyshire, "We asked for an interview with Nigel Farage tonight and we got a thumbs down emoji from his team"
"Over the last couple of weeks we've asked for an interview with Nigel Farage or anyone from Reform UK's front bench ten times"
Jake Berry, who used to be a Conservative MP and chairman of the Conservative party, humiliates himself for 5 minutes trying to defend Nigel Farage's £1.4m house purchase dismissing analysis from the Financial Times
Watching that Baroness Chakrabarti does her best not to laugh, then repeatedly points out Nigel farage took personal donations from a crypto billionaire while campaigning to lower taxes on crypto transactions
Could happen to anyone. You buy a £1.4 million house with a TV appearance fee and after the purchase, the money "seems to stay in your bank account"🤡
Reform also say money laundering chèques - I'm so sorry, checks - were done on Farage's "gift" from a crypto billionnaire
CNBC TV show footage of the far right march in London
They've just about filled Parliament square
With barely anyone between Parliament square and Trafalgar square
On the cover image, look at the bottom, there's a giant screen, with pretty much no one to watch it - and apparently these were dotted all the way back to Trafalgar square
Laura Kuenssberg, "Rejoining the EU.. Which Streeting and Burnham have mentioned"
Wil Self, "I think the public would be much happier if Streeting stood up and said we have a problem with governmental legitimacy, because of the way the vote on Europe is still perceived"
"We need a need to have a national debate on the mismatch on our electoral systems between Proportional Representation and FPTP"
"We need to educate the British public again on our own constitution"
"The real issue is we have a war with Russia"
"I have blood cancer, the blood testing service last year was attacked by Russian hackers"
"We have a low intensity conflict, its all over the place now"
"NATO is falling apart"
"The issue about the EU is about existential defence in Europe"
"Don't people understand that?"
"Talk about fiddling while Rome burns"
Well said @wself 👏
🚨 @Lord_Sugar in Sun Times
“Leaving Europe is the worst thing I have experienced in my whole time in business.”
“Johnson and Gove should be in jail. As a chairman I am obliged to tell the truth to my shareholders.”
“If I lie it’s a criminal offence. Politicians lie to the public — their shareholders — and get away with it.”
“All that bullshit about the 350 million quid going to the NHS after Brexit.”
#rejoinEU
This is Lord Rothermere the owner of the Daily Mail.
He lives in a massive mansion in the English countryside, but he pays no tax here because he identifies as French.
While the Daily Mail is registered in Bermuda and pays no tax anywhere.
That is his ‘Patriotism’.
Her full name - according to her - is not Suzanne Ashman. It’s Suzanne Ashman Blair. She’s just been appointed head of UK govt-funded Sovereign AI & her father-in-law - Tony - has a ton of skin in…you’ve guessed it, the sovereign AI game.
