I feel like we need to establish that the reason most of Takahashi‘s V cinemas are like this is because most of the shows he has worked on suffered from a level of producer interference so ridiculous that some of them were basically acting gleefully evil about it Zero One is a prime example of this the whole reason those V cinemas turn out the way they do is because the producers at Toei would not let the man tell the story he wanted to tell remember they had to make an announcement that the ending of Zero One was going to reflect the Reiwa Era’s values whatever that even meant at the time same with Ex-Aid to a degree after all Kirya was supposed to say dead not come back meanwhile Zeztz was filmed ahead of time just like Gavv so audience feedback has no weight on it
