What a great memory. Practical Classics hired the track for us all day, paid for our fuel (appreciated at 3mpg on full boost) then took us out for a meal. They put the best car of the day at the back for the group shot 😀

@LesleyRiddoch From someone whose dad attempted suicide twice due to motor neurone and terminal cancer I have to agree with the decision. We need stronger politicians to make such a big decision. Unfortunately the majority of politicians have very little experience of the real world.

@falkirkcouncil hiding posts from their FB feed. Let's just say they’re a wee bit iffy. Some of my clients (a lot of) who submit tenders through PCS are never successful. It’s always the same company and occasionally another local one who win on quality weighting and not cost.

Probably due to thermal runaway which is a chemical reaction and not a fire. Fire safety procedures need updated for lithium batteries which can't be extinguished using fire extinguishers. As a minimum they should be stored in LiPo safe bags to prevent fires starting.

Inspired by the drone pilots at the Winter Olympics I tried FPV flying and it turns out it’s very familiar to me with the motion controller being like a glider stick and no rudder to think about. Looking forward to recording some close skating drone footage.

It’s still not great but a big improvement on my last attempt of capturing Jupiter and it’s moons. It moves so quickly across the sky that I'm having to take really short exposures to minimise the blurring.
