I’m back. It’s a new era.
Coffee Stocks Guy is now Techno Optimist.
I’m steering the account away from stock commentary and market takes. I had an incredible run and created some of the most viewed investment articles on the platform with millions of views.
So what stays is the deeper layer that was always underneath the research: a clear-eyed view of which technologies and companies are actually reshaping how the world works, and what that means for Western capacity and competitiveness. That philosophy was the valuable part for me, and it’s what I’ll keep writing about.
Western civilization is collapsing, and it will not be saved primarily by nation-states or governments the way it once was. Revitalization will come through a select number of private companies that have the philosophical clarity and operational focus to rebuild the foundations- technological, industrial, and cultural - of the West. Governments will follow those companies, not lead them.
This remains an anonymous account. The lens is now broader - tech, AI, industrial systems, and the civilizational conditions that determine whether the West can still build and compete.
Company commentary will continue where it fits that frame, not as investment advice.
If the original work was useful, the same standards and perspective are still here, just pointed at a wider set of questions.
I’m still working things out - maybe I’ll start a substack subscription for longer essays or restart my X one.
Feel free to ask me more about the new lens below.
“The West won't be saved by beautiful words, but by hard work. The main principle should be 'does it work or does it not work’”
I don’t really want to comment on this but it is necessary as I’ve just come back.
One of the main reasons I moved away from the FinTwit community was slop like this. Don’t trust these accounts - they’re unashamedly luring retail investors into their scam sponsored apps.
Why follow these accounts? They offer no advice and only these engagement bait posts.
DYOR and learn principles. Think and question everything.
BREAKING: 'How can French people do this to France?'
French President Emmanuel Macron has said the country is feeling 'anger and shame' over recent protests in the country.
Calling for peace, the president said 'nothing' justifies the riots and damage caused in multiple cities.
@Dazzell88 Third worlders are obsessed and have their identity intrinsically woven to these European teams - big pull factor.
Also the fact that these teams are increasingly migrant focused legitimises it all.

Partially, yes.
Our debt-based fiat system has drove the sustained conditions of economic turmoil.
But it was the agency of ideological actors that exploited this through mass migration as a failed solution.
It’s easy to forget that immigration isn’t just a mere economic issue for these people, but a moral/ideological mission of destruction.
Never give them an excuse.
