for me, it was trying to be a mix of true detective and reacher without capturing the magic of either, almost got there with the interrogation

the visuals were pretty ugly outside of hal messing with the jukebox, I think the color grading could be changed without sacrificing the tone

tom king can’t go 5 seconds without saying fuck but kyle chandler is hal personified so I can ignore that

I expect to like the show more as it goes since I loved lindelof’s work, was just a weak pilot imo
