Our class read aloud Flipgrid is very popular. First we practice the book at least three times and then we can make a video of ourselves reading it to share with our classmates. We have an awesome collection of read aloud videos so far! #springrunfun
I enjoy learning new ways to integrate technology safely & in fun ways. I added @ClassTechTips,@JGTechieTeacher,@DrKatrinaKeene as my three. I already listen to Dr. Burns & incorporate her PD as well as Ms. Smith's google slide journal daily.#UNFdigcit2019

Our 2nd Grade is having a Read-a-Thon to help raise money for supplies. To kickoff our pledge drive in honor of Dr. Seuss, name one of your favorite Dr. Seuss Books.#UNFdigcit2019
@mj_unf As an educator, aunt, & coach, I'm torn on this issue to. I don't know that restricting the age would help solve the problem, but it could certainly help give the time needed to educate children on the importance of being a responsible digital citizen.
@Tanya27886732 I see the negative actions of disinhibition effect daily through the social media platforms personally. I also see the affects in my immediate family through the exposure posted through videos and photos as it all relates to their digital footprint.
@2019Unf I don't really know for sure how I feel about this issue. I'm torn. We have security and I work with littles. However, I have a lock cabinet and have my concealed and safely know how to handle a firearm.
@BoortzChris I would consider it. I would also look into my security and privacy settings to see if I'm missing something, however I rarely use facebook so honestly if I closed it down, I wouldn't miss it.
@myunfdigitech I think yes. If someone was bullying you or someone you loved face to face there are real world consequences...why not have digital world consequences!

Now that Common Core is being eliminated here in Florida, how swift do you see change being implemented in the public school system for teachers? Students?

@glanma96@MyFLFamilies This is great. I agree with donating supplies to help families and children that are living in foster care. I didn't know this opportunity was out there, nor that FL had so many children available for adoption. Great resource link!

As an educator, I don't agree with the "one size fits all" standardized testing for reasons of my own. Also, is the use of standardized testing really "improving" education here in America? Not so sure I can confidently stand behind that. https://t.co/44VzWnMPUm
