Mrs. Fuch's 6th gr. science class took part in the Goldstone Apple Valley Radio Telescope (GAVRT) Program via the internet. Students plotted data and made made calculations that allowed them to control a 34-meter decommissioned NASA radio antenna.
Real- world problem solving built into a playlist in Mr. Caviness's 8th gr. Math class. Students work together to calculate how much soil is needed so Mrs. Reisman's class can start on their science gardening project.

During Makerspace time, two RBM students control a digital piano keyboard with celery sticks and bananas which they built with a Makey-Makey electronic invention kit.
Today was the grand opening for Makerspaces in the RBM library. Students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities through their Resource block. Makerspaces are the key to innovation!
