What triggers an image update for items on @linuxserverio? I notice they are still hosting Firefox 128.0.3 when the official version is now 129.0.1
Is there a delay to make sure that the release is stable first?
@CoreElecAU just an FYI that your “items in cart” email is a bit misleading because it shows ex-GST pricing without showing that they’re ex-GST. I thought I’d scored a discount to finish my checkout, but instead the pricing in the email didn’t match the cart.
@alexkidman Back in the days of @googlereader , Gizmodo and Lifehacker used to be part of my routine. That was until the feed used to be bloated with an influx of US articles, that at best had some form of currency conversion or at worst weren't relevant to the local market. RIP.
hey @BritBox_AUS - it would be very helpful if you included somewhere in your account signup journey that a requirement is that passwords be 20 characters or less. Finally found it in your code, but it would make life easier if it was presented in the UI.
@CoreElecAU I think I'll pass on repeating the Pi4 fiasco where people got railroaded into buying kits of additional stuff at high prices. Those same people may think it's still 2010 where a 32GB µSD is worth $27 as part of a "kit", or that "barebones" means extras you don't want or need.
@CoreElecAU any idea if you’ll have any Pi5 8GB available this year? I thought they were meant to be available in October but haven’t had any notifications yet for stock -and always showing OOS on your site.
@Raspberry_Pi it’s all well and good having devices with YouTubers showing how great your new board is - but every week there’s no stock I am getting more disengaged with the brand. Why not hold back until you can ship sufficient stock?
@elizlaraki @danwarne I actually like the new design and muted colour scheme, but truth be told I mainly use it in the car, and I appreciate the contrast balance. But ideally there would be choice so people could choose the best theme for themselves.
@FreeTVAustralia Not really an issue for me because I just install the apps I want on my TV (including 1 local one). But any new rules should also enable you to remove/hide any apps that you don't use - whether they be paid streaming platforms, or ad-supported "free" platforms.
@ServiceNSW why have you implemented 2FA by using SMS to a phone number (which may be lost or stolen), when TOTP could give people more options in their time of need? Almost everyone seems to be moving away from SMS as primary authentication.
@TomUrtis doesn't always work when you are outside the US and use date format of d/m/y not m/d/y. Excel doesn't always get it right when a file moved from one zone to another.
@AlboMP Hardly a relief if the government is paying “compensation” to the energy companies. It’s still our money, this “plan” just changes how much directly comes out of our pocket, and how much comes out of our money the government looks after.
thanks so much to @Apple for the complimentary 7 days of #AppleCare which expires on the day I receive the watch... Shouldn't that just be called shipping insurance if that's the case? #Apple#AppleWatch8#shonky
@BoxneNetwork any idea why 216.244..91.100 isn't serving any pages. Or more importantly when it will be fixed, or at least acknowledged on your network status page.
thanks to @Raspberry_Pi for the update to Raspberry Pi Imager v1.7.1
Removing the need to create a new user and delete the default 'pi' user will save me a heap of time.
Now I just need to remember that my main user/group is 1000/1000 rather than 1001/1001 on previous builds
