@omguk2024@Bbmorg You do understand that however you feel about the government undermining it has a potential negative effect on the country as a whole? Making it harder to govern serves no positive purpose to the country.
@therealmissjo@justdavenow89 Actually its more likely down to economics. Reported thefts follow a similar trend to the cost of living crisis, peaking ~2023 and now falling off. When people are desperate for money they're more likely to turn to things like petty theft and Insurance Fraud to help pay the bills
@therealmissjo@justdavenow89 That's a significant drop in phone thefts, down from almost 120k, thanks for highlighting it. It's a shame we'll never be able to get an exact figure on insurance fraud claims to get a genuine number of crimes.
@MoriartyJones6@GoodwinMJ Ok so it's ok to send 7 people then, what about 10 or 20? Where do we draw the line? They weren't private activists any more than Labour's were, they were the Young Republicans Federation, but regardless it's either ok to send people or it isn't the number doesn't matter.
@MoriartyJones6@GoodwinMJ The numbers really aren't the point. If it's bad faith it's bad faith both ways, just as if it's hypocritical it's also hypocritical both ways. It depends entirely on your point of view whether you think it is or isn't but it's both or neither, not one but not the other.
@MoriartyJones6@GoodwinMJ Yes he has every right to complain if he feels it's political interference. The fact that something happened previously, which was legal under US law, doesn't remove that right. Just as it didn't remove Trumps right to complain because his party had done the same previously.
@MoriartyJones6@GoodwinMJ Yes and Trump filed a complaint about it, despite the fact the Republicans did the same thing sending a group of campaigners to interfere in the UK elections in 2015. It appears both sides believe it's OK if they do it, but not the other way round.
@EricJMoser1@krassenstein Yes as I've told you many times that is my entire point, and despite you desperately trying to dispute it we've finally confirmed it. I think we're done here, have a good one.
@ShiltonJohanne@BROKENBRITAIN0@JaneWinward Yes it's democratic. There's nothing in the vote that has any reliance on the manifesto or who is PM. You vote for your local representative and that's your choice till the next election. Whilst early elections can be called there's no reason to do so.
@EricJMoser1@krassenstein Great so since I stated there were reports mentioning the figure, nothing about confirming it, we're in agreement then the point is proven.
@ShiltonJohanne@BROKENBRITAIN0@JaneWinward We had a General Election, the majority (who voted) voted in Labour until ~2029. That's how democracy works Just because you don't agree with the wishes of the majority doesn't mean you get another go.
@GnatBeGone@MikeLevin If there's nothing to hide then there's no issue with the administration releasing the list of donors and details of any contracts awarded to them. That will quickly show if this is a lie or not.
@EricJMoser1@krassenstein Read your sentence again, where does it say anything about the figure needing to be substantiated? It states 'mention' and this any many other reports very clearly mention the figure.
@EricJMoser1@krassenstein "None of the reporting on the US-Iran war mentions any such funds" were your exact words in your very first post. That's what we're discussing. Surely you can read what you wrote yourself.
@EricJMoser1@krassenstein Do I need to remind you for the millionth time what this conversation is about? You did dispute that reports exist, and I have proven you wrong. The issue is not whether it's substantiated or not, that isn't what we're talking about that's just you trying to deflect.
@Microinteracti1@FoxNews I'm going to throw a slight curve ball comment and give Trump some credit on this one. The fact he's come up with such a remarkably stupid comparison is somewhat unique, I can't think of anyone else who would've thought of it.
@Jaxindahouse13@harryjsisson This whole conversation is about the President and yet as you say yourself you didn't even mention the president, making your comments irrelevant to the conversation.
@EricJMoser1@krassenstein Yes it does prove something, it proves that it's being reported which is exactly the point I've been making and you've been arguing against. It doesn't have to have weight, be verified or anything else. It simply has to be reported to prove the point it's being reported.
