I remember my first personal smartphone was OnePlus 1 and from that onwards I bought every OnePlus nymber series flagships every year till now with OnePlus 15. I admired OnePlus a lot for their Software OxygenOS, performance and aftersales service. Its really a sad day for me to know that OnePlus may exit my country. I love OnePlus and always wanted OnePlus to shine in India and in whole world.
I hope and wish OnePlus may reconsider their decision and remain in India. My journey from OnePlus 1 - OnePlus 15 will be forever memorable 🔥

If this happens, OxygenOS 16 could be one of the final chapters in the OxygenOS story. However, OPPO, OnePlus, and realme have not officially confirmed these reports yet.

📊 So, did OxygenOS become ColorOS?

Not at first.

What actually happened was that OnePlus and OPPO merged much of their underlying codebase in 2021.

But if the latest reports prove accurate, the transition may soon be complete, with future OnePlus devices potentially shipping with ColorOS branding instead of OxygenOS.
