In the newest HDR Nightly, we've added the long sought ability to edit and rename your player tags from the CSS!
We hope that everyone enjoys this update, both tournament goers and casual players alike.
@jackzander_roa Dude that's awesome! I wanna get back into it after I move up to Boston, so this is encouraging - it's easy to forget how supportive the climbing community is. To me, that "but" doesn't matter - you're the one who did the route! Own it!
@Seoth_SSB You might want to use this python script to connect to your switch and see what the output of the plugin is. I have an issue written up to log errors and stuff to a file but haven't done it yet. Good luck

Hey guys, got an update for you: I've taken down the open source repo of the input macros plugin and its existing releases. Instead, I have released a version which does not work online, and is also not open source. Links at the bottom.
🧵
Also, remember to actually have some fun while you're at it! I for one think the use cases for labbing and TAS are actually very cool, so I look forward to seeing some interesting uses/tools come out of this.
Another neat idea was to use this as part of a bot like that one melee bot, but for ultimate. That might be a bit of a stretch though - maybe one day.
In the mean time I'll probably be fixing some more behaviors and fleshing out the examples in the near future.
You know, one of the coolest uses of this new tool is probably being able to TAS easily in ultimate, like that one brawl video everyone's seen before.
I don't think that's been possible/practical until now.
There are a few other really interesting uses for this, like labbing very specific inputs in a per-frame, exact-stick-position way. That would have been a lifesaver back in the days of early ult labbing...
Hey folks, I did a neat little project a few days ago that I figured I might as well share now:
A smash ultimate input macro plugin! With this, you can define a complex sequence of button inputs and stick positions, using a json file on your sd card.

Update: I was planning on just creating some more examples for the input macros plugin, but then I ended up just implementing a bunch of new features instead.
Please test lol
