@mehul@ICannot_Enough@mikepat711@maticrobots Thoughtful response, thanks. Dust bunny’s abound under the furniture in this house,
Maybe version 2 is low slung, but w movable sensors? And they move to get under obstacles, but otherwise keep their watchful vantage pt? Or are there other reasons for the form factor?
@patrickc To be (un)fair you picked the Wurst framing - the back courtyard, in the shade and without the nine story tower and the brise soleils. I think the modernist/brutalist hate is missing the exploration of volume and form that’s a bit rote in all things classical.
@ICannot_Enough@mikepat711@maticrobots I don’t get it, it can’t clean under the couch (and all the other legged low clearance furniture which is a typology unto itself). The low slung discs exist for a reason - one might even say their height is “first principles”…
@JimmyRis@majamediaco I remember loving A Pattern Language when I found it. And then being distressed to learn the faculty at Cal, while I was there, were downright contemptuous of Alexander.
@avidseries@avidseries Doesn’t explain everything, but there’s correlation and it tracks for inactivity levels in other hot humid parts of the world (Asia, etc). https://t.co/etRwEA93yN
