@GeekToyLove Unforunately the day job gets in the way so I can be quite slow🙄Always in favour of open source, which makes me a bad capitalist, so I will share the STL files when ready. My plan is to make a 3d printed version as a maquette, then base the metal cast and machined parts on it.
@GeekToyLove Not yet. It keeps getting put on the backburner, plus I keep moving the goal posts in terms of the build. It has gone from a relatively simple 3d printed working replica to a cast / machined metal recreation. Tooling up and the need to learn new skills is adding to the delay.
@elonmusk Any thoughts on increasing the Twitter username character limit from 15 to 16? So close yet so far from getting my preferred Twitter name. Been bugging me for years.
@icarus1080@FrankLangella_@HeMan It isn't done yet, I keep raising my expectations of the project. It started off as a relatively simple 3d printed replica, now it's becoming a metal recreation. No sign of @FrankLangella_ sneaking up behind me, but I've had my suspicions about @RealMegFoster a few times.
This is my build of Nikodem's DIY Dremel CNC. It has a 600x440mm footprint, printed in ABS (mostly stock design apart from a few minor changes), a plywood baseboard coated in a layer of resin to make it hard-wearing and of course, some Third Earth Design customization!
