Out hearts are broken for K9 Max who was laid to rest. Max served the community from 2015 to 2022, with handlers Theresa Clayton and Mike Tountas.
At the conclusion of his K9 career he lived a well deserved life with Mike and family.
Thank you for your service Max.
End of watch.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the @DRPS officer critically injured today while bravely responding to an armed person call in Oshawa. We stand in solidarity with @AssociationDrp and the officer’s family.

Congrats to Premier @fordnation on securing another majority government. We look forward to continue working with his @OntarioPCParty team on behalf of our members to make our #LdnOnt community safer.
Premier @fordnation has consistently demonstrated unwavering support for Ontario's police personnel, notably through investments in community safety, getting more boots on the ground and mental health services like the PTSI Centre of Excellence. He has shown he has our backs, and his leadership has been vital for our province’s safety and well-being.
Proud of the professionalism shown by our members in response to this firearms-related incident. The safety of #LdnOnt citizens - especially children - will always be our #1 priority.
