@SeanSmith162@Patton6606Chuck@BarrySchust Plus hof has 6 catchers in with less hrs than 113, At number 7, Mickey Cochrane being the most comparable at 119 hrs and a 49.8 WAR
@SeanSmith162@Patton6606Chuck@BarrySchust I would have take Munson over Fisk at their peak. Bench of course, was in another stratosphere. Chuck Patton must be a Redsox fan! lol
@Patton6606Chuck@BarrySchust I saw the man play. HOF all the way. I would have taken Munson over Fisk in their prime or any other al catcher in his day. Bench of course in another stratosphere.
@Patton6606Chuck@BarrySchust WAR isn't everything. Thurman Munson was the best or second best catcher (Fisk) in the AL for basically a decade. And his playoff stats and defense speak for themselves. Long overdue, it helps i saw him play.
@TimScoreCFP@tomanddina @BronxZooNYY J Bench is the greatest catcher of all time. No one has to be as good as Bench to be in the HOF. In his era and in the AL , i would take Munson over anyone. WAR is not as exact as you think...there are intangibles...which Munson had.
@stevestone Well...I love you , man, but this tweet did not age well. Something is wrong here. There is way too much talent on this team for them to be playing as such. Still a month to go.. but it certainly doesn't look good.

Somehow, somebody taped this off the tonight show some 50 plus years ago. I wonder how the interview with Johnny went?
@ARizzo44 Nope, love you like the brother i never had but you are wrong here. Players got most of what you wanted. 700 g minimum , 12 playoff teams, etc. Get a deal done. NOW.
@stevestone Whew...wondering how you were doing as you haven't tweeted in a while...and great to hear Mr Baseball is doing well. Let's get this season started!
