@JamesCh35783595 I'm with you. 12.6.4 gave me grief today—worst experience since early beta. First time in ages I gave up and drove myself. Too timid on empty roads, then suddenly reckless with an unprotected left. Very disappointing as I've been very pro-FSD.
@FZaslavskiy I’m still waiting. I bought it outright on my 2020 Model Y and was in the first wave of safety score drivers. No clue how they decide to push the versions now but I feel left out 😞
@_Evan_Rice_@teslascope Same. I was excited to see an update just to be crushed when I read “minor bug fixes”. I liked being in the 100% safety score group. Now it’s the “sux to be you” group 😔
@NYKChannel@EffettoTesla I gave this a try yesterday. On 12.3.6 it does not work that way. Auto Max just flashes with each wheel scroll but doesn’t actually lower the speed at all. Perhaps that is something in 12.5.x?
@NYKChannel@EffettoTesla I have done that with v11 but with auto speed when I try the scroll wheel the “auto max” flashes and I have not noticed a slowdown. Perhaps I am not waiting long enough before I hit the brake and disengage. I will give it another try. Thanks for the tip.
@RonFilipkowski Seeing this Twitter poll reminds me of when Trump suggested he could save money by just polling his rally audience. As if he doesn’t get how real polls work! Polling bias might be in play—maybe Trump supporters are more likely to respond. I never answer polls myself.
@GarudadhriRam@elonmusk@chuckcook@Tesla@TeslaAI I’m right there with you. I was in the 100% safety score group and have been testing for a couple years now. Seeing so many folks with no FSD history getting 12.4 before us definitely feels disappointing.
@PhinneusJ I’m still antsy for 12.4.3. I live in Oregon and have interventions on 12.3.6 constantly. The 12.x release resolved many complaints I had since 10.2 but added new issues. I keep hoping the next version will be the one that works 🤞
@omunderdal@elonmusk It’s definitely tougher to recall actual facts and engage in a real debate than it is to regurgitate the same rehearsed rhetoric and lies from the past four years, all while dodging the real questions.
@ashtonskirreli@rmotwani3@AboutTesla I keep waiting and wondering as well. I was in the 100% safety score group but seem to be on the late list now. I am still on 11.3.6 and wishing for 11.4.x.
@TSLAFanMtl@wholemars I have quite a few disengagements in my area. Several per trip at least, including missing red lights and stop signs. That said, I still very much appreciate FSD. Most of the 26K miles on my Y have been driven by Autopilot or FSD beta. Driving cars with out it is a bummer.
@dani_elle831 @elonmusk I bought FSD for safety and hoped it would improve with time. But now, with the increasing prices that safety net will be unobtainable if the car needs to be replaced. It would be nice if the pricing varies by use. Lower for personal use/higher if you rent it out as a robotaxi.
