So grateful to be able to share this story Saturday about JMU LBs Coach Dave Plungas & his father Pete who's been battling an aggressive bone cancer.

Pete doesn't know how much time he has left, but wasn't missing an opportunity to see his son coach on the CFP stage 💜

The father of JMU LB coach Dave Plungas was at Autzen Stadium on Saturday night after being told he has just 6 months to live due to cancer.

Pete wanted to watch his son coach 1 last time. 🥹

We were on Michigan Ave which provided innumerable opportunities to stop. We have kids on this bus. This is beyond unacceptable. For now and the future. Your drivers need to be able to have discretion to make emergency calls that deviate from SOP.

Hey @cta , we’ve been on the 128 bus from Ogilve station to Soldier Field since 5:05pm. It’s 6:46pm now. Traffic was terrible (obviously) but the bus driver refused to pull over and let us out. Because it was an “express”. Your security team who I called said the same thing.
