In 2016, I did something daring — starting @teensmeetonline. We've been consistent since then and have always documented our journey.
Today, we are 10 years old, and it's my greatest pleasure to share our story.
Do read and share 💙

When I say I am a feminist, I am referring to the belief that women and men should have equal dignity, equal value, and equal opportunities. I am not endorsing every idea that has ever existed under the feminism umbrella, just as being a Christian does not mean endorsing every action or belief that has ever been promoted in the name of Christianity.
Christianity also has extremes, abuses, and harmful expressions. There are people who have abandoned their families, manipulated others, justified oppression, or committed terrible acts while claiming to be Christians. We do not conclude that Christianity itself is therefore toxic.
If the existence of extreme feminists makes feminism invalid, then by the same logic the existence of extreme Christians would make Christianity invalid. I do not think either conclusion is fair.
The question should be: what specific belief are we discussing?
If the belief is that women and men deserve equal opportunities and equal human dignity, I struggle to see how that is destructive or contrary to God's purpose.
My point remains that Christians routinely identify with causes and advocacy movements that fur biblical values. We do not tell climate advocates, anti-trafficking advocates, or disability rights advocates to abandon those labels simply because Christianity teaches related principles.
So why is feminism uniquely treated differently?

Especially women. We can wake up one day & all our rights will be taken away on a whim but never for men. The Afghan women went to bed one night & woke up the next day as slaves in their own homes & it haunts me everyday.
10 years after, countless lives touched.
Today, we celebrate every teenager reached, every life transformed, every volunteer who said yes, and every moment that pointed someone in the right direction.
Happy 10th Anniversary, TMO.
The journey continues.

10 years ago, TMO started with questions
“What if nobody comes?”
“Will lives really be changed?”
10 years later, we’re celebrating God’s faithfulness, transformed lives, and a vision that keeps growing.
Swipe through our conversation between 2016 TMO and 2026 TMO. 💛

Something big is happening this June… 👀
10 years of impact. 10 years of growth. 10 years of leaving prints on hearts.
As we celebrate TMO Anniversary Month, we’re reflecting on the lives touched, the voices empowered, and the journey that brought us here.
Anyway, just want women around me to understand, you need to start aspiring towards financial independence with the exact same urgency society wants you to aspire towards marriage.
That UTI conversation is a clear cut example of correlation is not causation. An unhygienic toilet is probably a confounding factor. This is why we rely on decades of research to actually narrow down the actual cause of diseases through many scientific methods and evidence.
The world teaches us to chase visibility. To be louder. To be bigger. To be impossible to ignore.
But real importance isn’t always loud. Sometimes it looks like consistency. Sometimes it looks like simply showing up and doing your part well.
