There is โStockholm Syndromeโ, and now there is what I call โSoweto Syndromeโ. Some black South Africans have been damaged by generations of mental slavery, it now forms part of their DNA.
โThey're very scared of White people. Anytime they speak to the Whites, they're very respectful. But when it is blacks, they're violent.โ

Equating the parliamentary system of the UK to Nigeriaโs presidential system is a catchy but fundamentally flawed argument.
In a parliamentary system, a Prime Minister answers directly to their party and legislature, while Nigeria operates under a constitutional presidential model with a fixed four-year executive tenure designed for long-term stability.
More importantly, True political accountability must look beyond sensational headlines and face the hard economic realities inherited by the current administration.
President Tinubu inherited an economy struggling under the weight of unsustainable subsidies, multiple exchange rates, declining oil output, and severe fiscal constraints. Resolving decades of systemic distortion was never going to be painless, but these difficult choices were non-negotiable for national survival.
While the administration openly acknowledges that citizens are enduring severe cost-of-living adjustments, the claim that "every sector has deteriorated" does not withstand factual scrutiny. Nigeria now enjoy a Strengthened Financial Markets and a Fiscal Stability Environment which have improved oil production, state revenues, foreign reserves, infrastructure projects, healthcare investments, and investor confidence.
The necessity of these reforms is further underscored by the very leaders managing local economies. Notably, Professor Charles Soludo, the current Governor of Anambra State [the exact state Peter Obi once governed] has repeatedly and publicly eulogized President Tinubu's economic policies.
As a seasoned economist and former Central Bank Governor, Soludo has stated that the administrationโs audacious reforms rescued Nigeriaโs public finances from the brink of collapse and gave the economy room to breathe again. He noted that true leadership is about visionary, difficult choices that guarantee a resilient future, rather than chasing short-term popularity.
If, as you claim, every sector has collapsed and the economy is in its worst state ever, how do you explain the historic performance of the Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX)?
How do you explain the projected economic growth of 4.4% for 2026; highest in over a decade?
How do you explain the unprecedented increase in profits of several companies that used to declare losses before the President got elected in 2023?
How do you explain the massive increase in the allocations due to the three tiers of government?
How do you explain the increased daily oil production and our foreign reserves?
How do you explain the disappearance of the yearly ASUU strikes and the persistent fuel station queues?
Healthy democratic criticism is fair, but a balanced assessment requires dealing in holistic evidence, not a selective presentation of facts to arrive at a predetermined verdict.
We will continue to engage and clarify at all times to ensure there is no room for revisionism.
Oseni Rufai didn't talk over Peter Obi or even raise his voice during his recent interview; As a matter of fact, he didn't bother to ask serious follow-up questions even when Obi wasn't being direct. But if it's a member from any opposition party, he will turn aggressive with his speech.
Nas, you can creating awareness without being a useful tool in the hands of terrorists. Posting verified information helps law enforcement. Posting fake news creates confusion which is the chief ingredient these terrorists operate on

Kuwaitโs army says its air defence systems are currently intercepting incoming missile and drone attacks. At the same time, Iranian media reports explosions heard in the area of Qeshm Island. The situation is developing, with details still emerging

Initially Obidients didn't want Peter Obi to work with Kwankwaso after remarks made towards Obi and LP during the last elections, the backlash was intense. Now people are pushing for the Obi and Kwankwaso movement.
The desperation is truly sickening. You see Nigerians, we stand for nothing as a people.
As a northerner, Iโm very okay with Nigeria dividing and everyone going their separate ways rather than having Peter Obi as President of this great nation.
Let everyone go their separate ways so he can rule over BIAFRA.
From the reports I have received, our armed forces have been conducting sustained, intense land and air offensives against the insurgents, neutralising many terrorist fighters and commanders. The insurgentsโ counterattack is a sign of desperation.

I extend my condolences to the families of our gallant soldiers, led byย Brigadier-General Oseni Omoh Braimah, who made the ultimate sacrifice in the defence of our country in Borno State.
ย
The government will never forget their sacrifices. Their sacrifices will not be in vain. Because of the courage and dedication of our troops on the frontline, our resolve to defeat terrorism and all forms of violence across Nigeria is stronger than ever.
ย
I urge the Military High Command and our troops in all theatres of operation: Do not lose heart, do not be weary, do not be discouraged.
ย
Our officers and men should continue to serve with honour, courage, and patriotism. The government will always stand by the Armed Forces, provide more of the equipment needed and ensure the welfare of all who risk their lives for our safety.
ย
I urge Nigerians and the media to continue to support our Military in their relentless battle against insurgency and banditry. We should desist from celebrating or condoning the attacks against our troops. These soldiers are our heroes; unforgettable and irreplaceable.
ย
My condolences also go to the government and people of Borno State. The Federal Government will continue to work with the state government to achieve total victory and lasting peace.

On this social media, we all have to be very careful.
She just lost her job based on consistent attacks on the Yoruba.
Those tweets were so bad. Not one but over 20.
Tribal!sm & Religion have eaten deep into the country.
Apologies to all the Yoruba women on this platform. The level of bigotry, ridicule, and outright disrespect youโve suffered is beyond unacceptable.
To those perpetuating this hatred, shame on you. Targeting people because of their ethnicity or gender is cowardly and disgraceful.
It must stop, and it must be called out every single time.
Nigeria DSS, whatโs going on here? Why arenโt you guys vetting this so-called "NGOs". Oh my!
This guy is either a CIA agent or Mossad.
@OfficialDSSNG
๐ณ๐ฌ He poses as a humanitarian but arms locals and pushes the Christian genocide narrative, undermining Nigeria's government. In a serious nation, he'd be arrested and investigated not treated as a voice of conscience. Those hellbent on plunging Nigeria into chaos will fail.
Wasn't the guy in black trousers in Nigeria weeks ago, precisely in Benue state as an NGO guy?
Wasn't he the guy that wanted to build a market for some local women?
In the words of @DavidHundeyin, Y'all will eventually learn geopolitics by force.
Whenever you wake up will be your morning.
I just hope it won't be too late by the time some of you will finally wake up.
