@g_shullenberger I see this in elementary ages. These labels have little concrete meaning and are more akin to "I'm this power ranger" "this is my favourite spice girl". Totally ephemeral, fleeting, playful. I get why it's disturbing, but almost none of these kids will socially trx or medicalise

@DetransAware @Aaron_GDAC The direct effects+some of the common side effects are leading me to start wondering whether the question is "why are doctors prescribing HRT to *anyone*". Ex. estrogen: it produces (pretty subtle) changes in form+appearance with huge risks to health, fertility,sexual function.

@Aaron_GDAC That pretty much sums up the zeitgeist right now: these are elective procedures and medications that sound cool and people should get them when they want (including minors). If they don't it's a human rights issue+people's lives are in danger. Just like hamburgers and nose jobs.

Are we to believe they have designated a corner of the boys room+girls room for kids to shit in a box? Does the janitor change it?

I've yet to hear, and do not believe until I see, a concerete example of school is putting together a litter box for children to defecate in. Name of school?
