Our culture has blinded us to the daily mental struggle of our population. Mental illnesses are termed as 'weakness'. An African man can not be depressed, yet our youths are committing suicide daily. Mental illness is real irrespective of the race.

I woke to this this disturbing news. My friend & business partner, Anifowose Opeyemi Ebenezer, is missing. He left his Abeokuta home, thurs evening 06/05/2021 to Lag & has not been seen or heard from since then. Last heard from at about 8pm that day, at Mowe.

I read these words and I had to read again. I wondered how many times I had ignored people who needed my attention, how I must have been looking at people but don't really see what they are passing through. I need to do better.
