@misterdotjay I think the owner wants to be prepared as there’s several of us who’ll be joining who already have PCV licenses already to allow for buses to be driven from day 1 just in case we get a contract etc

Also can’t forget that if allocations prove me right, I’ll be sampling a brand new Volvo 9700DD on my overnight M20 from VCS to John Dobson Street in Newcastle tonight

Well that’s the 70 & X70 done and dusted, surprisingly, although there were a couple road closures thrown at us to test us on the first day of taking over from @Reliancebus and surprisingly remembered the route round Rainton and got Thornton-le-Moor in one go too

With @FirstYork retiring their remaining 2 bendys this weekend after 21 years of having bendys in service (16 years of the BG58 CitaroGs with 2 at York and several with @FirstAberdeen I believe), I’ve took it upon my All York Day ticket to bash them while I can
