@Official414 Nevermind...I didn't see the draft picks included. You're right. I just heard someone else say Brown for Giannis straight up earlier today. My bad.
@the10yards@Peter_Bukowski I'd she is an important part of the story. But she did hold Rocky back at times. When she bought in during Rocky II, he thrived.
@pederson_dalton@ChiSportsMoosk@BruceIronsNFL Packers have the third most wins in the NFL since 2000. So, yeah a quarter century of data seems to imply they have been successful. Going back to 1989, they are second in wins. This shapes perception for most people.
@Pete14517405@Peter_Bukowski Exactly. If they don't pick it up, and he has even 8 sacks, he'll hit free agency with a real chance at 25m or more. A calculated risk but a good one. He could easily reach 8-10 sacks without Rashan here and playing opposite Parsons in a Jonathan Gannon scheme.
@Houdini3603@Peter_Bukowski He's making 5.5m this year and 13.8m the next year. 19m over two years seems like a reasonable gamble to make when capable pass rushers could getting 30m per year. Gannon has coordinated some units to get after the QB and if LVN has even 8 sacks this year, he'll get paid well.
@osha3264@Peter_Bukowski Contracts are given for what a team expects a player to do, not what they have done. He will have ample opportunity with Micah missing a little time, and Rashan Gary gone. Plus, the Gannon defense could unlock him.
@ConcreteCwby_SC@wendellfp And yet we will somehow find a way to add talent AFTER the draft with a UDFA haul. McManus will cost 4.3m if cut, and the history of drafted kickers is no sure thing. What about Lucas Havrisik, too? It's a big investment here.
