Not everyone will like you.
Not everyone will like your work.
All that matters is that you stay true to yourself and your craft.
And keep moving forward
All great things take time. A seed doesn’t grow overnight. It has to be nourished and cultivated before it transforms. Point is: patience, love. You’re doing a fabulous job.
When I feel anxiety, I remember Phillipians 4:6-8. God reminds us when we feel worried, we ought to:
1. Pray
2. Give thanks
3. Change our thinking
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

The thing people fail to realize is that every texture of hair is different and you can’t do everyone’s hair the same. I’d be mad as hell if I found someone trying to combthrough my child’s hair with a fine tooth comb
I’m so sick and tired of it. I don’t want my girls growing up thinking the thing that makes you beautiful is your appearance. Yes, keep up your appearance but life happens and if you’re not feeling it… do you boo
POV: commenting on my girls hair and how it looks when mama has had a rough week is offensive. Half the people commenting grew up permed and pressed and have NO IDEA what it’s like to do three natural heads.
