Losing a man who didn’t make plans with you, who could go an entire day without knowing how you were, and who didn’t make the slightest effort when things cooled down, isn’t losing anything at all.
at some point you need to accept that you are also made up of people you don’t talk to anymore, people who hurt you, people you hate. and that forgiving them is forgiving yourself. that love can exist in pockets of time, and stay there. even when you’ve left and can’t turn back
a lady on TikTok just said, “he never knew i could’ve supported him through all his dreams, because he never invited me to dream with him.” and i couldn’t stop thinking about how many plans i made in my head for someone who never made space for me in theirs.
Surely a white male being killed for exercising his 1st amendment rights while also using his 2nd amendment rights to carry a firearm being killed will make a difference to those who are obsessed with preserving the white race and the constitution.
