Take my simple advice:

Diversify your income streams so you have funds that can cover your basic living expenses OUTSIDE of your job.

Do some doctors and nurses in the public system deliver sub-optimal care? Absolutely!

Are stink attitudes and sub-optimal care the main problem in the public system? Absolutely not!

As usual, politicians are gaslighting people.

When patients are receiving care from chairs for hours, instead of beds, that problem is not in the same universe as rude doctors.

When hospitals don't have functioning MRI machines and other diagnostic equipment, you should pay no mind to the minister who is yapping about underperforming medical staff. Such yapping can only be an attempt to deflect and distract.

When the functionality of operating theatres in the main public hospital in the damn capital of our country is limited for extended periods because of AC issues...

When the most important hospital in the west of our country has been operating at less than full capacity for nearly a damn decade because of repairs cum reconstruction...

A minister in post for more than a decade presiding over the shambles that is the public healthcare system, has some nerve pointing even him lickle finga at healthcare workers.

The new Spanish Town hospital is on the six or six floors - internals next. Due to open in 2027. More beds, seven new operating theaters , more space, CT scan , MRI , digital X-ray etc equipped.

NEW: Michael Foster, 58, of Mount Vernon has been arrested and charged with murder, manslaughter, and 10 counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the fatal shooting of his niece, Julia Anderson, 39.

News outlets say the shooting stemmed from a dispute over an inherited home.

Police say Anderson was shot multiple times through the passenger window of her black Jeep Grand Cherokee near Murdock and Nereid Avenues in Wakefield, Bronx, just before midnight Monday. She had just finished an overnight shift as an aide at a group home for developmentally disabled adults. She was pronounced dead.

Tolls are more expensive in Jamaica than some places elsewhere because:
1. In Jamaica vs elsewhere the volume of vehicles are lower hence the cost per user will be higher
2. The money used to finance the toll road was borrowed in USD, so they have to account for the fluctuations
