When God says "I will make a way in the wildreness", somewhere else he speaks about this way calling it "The way of holiness." He is referring to the way he has now made into the holiest of all.
He provides springs of water for those who will choose to worship Him rather than complain in the wilderness.
This is the way he has made for us all in the wilderness. Stop waiting, wondering and looking for that way out in your crisis, it is the way he is speaking about. Once you get in, the wilderness will turn into a fruitful field. What you were trying to get out of becomes a great source of blessing.
He is leading us during the "wilderness" experience into the holiest of all to behold his face in worship and to rejoice in his presence. Glory in your necessities and watch his power work for you.
Did David not speak to this when he said in Psalm 16:11 "Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore."
@Ayaan The first great news I received today. I have long admired you from your days in the Dutch Parliament and I have watched you ever since.
God Bless you Hirsi
I read my bible not to become a scholar who can debate eloquently about the Scriptures but first to know God's thought and to understand what he expects of me so I can walk in his statutes. I read to discover and then to obey. The Bible is my instruction manual for life's goals.
The enemy will always give you an opportunity to get what you want, outside of God. Never take it.
Let your heart be set on God, not on anyother thing. Your desires will become a snare for you if you place them above God
Never sacrifice any inch of your walk with God for any desire. It is a trap. It is never as direct as this. An Amalekite presented Saul's crown to David after Saul had died. It was easy for David to fall for that but his heart was right(1/2)
what served as a tool of preservation can be what keeps you in bondage after a while. Understand Times and Seasons. Know when its time to move and when you feel the pangs, cry out to God early to show you the way out (1/many)
if this is so, then it is clear sighing, complaining, and adapting in response to a problem are natural expressions that do not really move the needle. They don't solve the problem. What solves the problem is the implementation of the instructions he gives when we pray to him.
There is a strong prophetic dimension manifesting itself in the teaching anointing. I Cor 14:31 says
"For you can all prophesy one by one that all may LEARN and all may be encouraged"
Teaching is an integral part of the prophetic, with words of knowledge given by the Spirit
Pride stops one from asking for help or even admitting one doesn't know how to get a thing done. Pride will make you fail rather than admitting you are ignorant of the way. This is why pride puts up a front but causes deep sorrow and suffering in the heart. Humility leads to joy.
"Today if you will hear his voice, harden not your heart" This portion of scripture clearly says if we are listening to what the Spirit is saying in the now, we will be hearing him urge us not to harden or close our hearts from him because we just experienced some dissapointment.
2. Life is about learning the wisdom of God knowing his ways. The unsearchable riches of Christ which constitute our inheritance in him are not physical in nature but they are the treasures of wisdom and knowledge hidden from ages and generations past. Access to his intelligence.
3. At every stage in life, God has something to teach you whether it be in adversity or in prosperity. He wants to show you his statutes so you recognise the importance of the moment and make the best decisions that with cause increase and multiplication with least effort.
