@OykotGaming @DANNYonPC @EA Did you even play the older CoDs? The reason those are still active is because those games utilize P2P (peer to peer) connections. There are no central servers so it can’t be shut down. One person would be selected as the host and others could connect to their machine.

They likely decided to end console support because absolutely nobody played the game and it was just wasting resources keeping the servers up. There are no plans to shut down PC servers

@OykotGaming @DANNYonPC @EA The servers are being taken down on Xbox One and PS4. PC servers will remain online. This is not uncommon for companies to do when a game is at its EOL

@OykotGaming @DANNYonPC @EA CoD 1 may still have some servers but it’s infested with cheaters and unplayable. They’re shutting down these servers as nobody, including you, plays this game on last gen consoles anymore. This does not affect you at all lol

On a desktop the discrete GPU stays in use at all times because that is where the DP/HDMI cord is plugged into. It can’t switch to the iGPU because the cord isn’t plugged into the MOBO. Therefore, disabling the iGPU does nothing

It wasn’t very popular so they sold the IP to Tencent, a big Chinese company that is known for blatantly copying other games. The game is strikingly similar to 2042 which wasn’t even that good
