تیفا از آغاز روند ثبت نام تقویتی استقبال نموده اما از نبود میکانیزم ها برای موثریت و شفافیت این پروسه شدیدا نگران است. به اساس یافته های تیفا از ۳۴ ولایت، آگاهی عامه برای این روند بسیار کمرنگ بوده و هنوز هم که این روند آغاز گردیده مردم آگاهی از پروسه ندارند .۱۸ جوزا ۱۳۹۸

The upcoming Consultative Peace Jirga may be a good tool for peace realization, but we are concerned on the misuse of this tool for elections. Moreover, the mechanism defined for selecting the Jirga members seems to be disrupted .
Peace talks have been uncoordinated and it is still unclear to the most that which category of Taliban these peace talks are being made, either to the local ones, or to the ones that are favoring a specific country’s intelligence.
TEFA’s Leadership paid the newly appointed EMBS (IEC & ECC) a short constructive visit, to first congratulate them on their new and momentous assignments and to share with the commission chiefs and commissioners all the lessons TEFA learnt from the previous EMBs.
Ms. Sughra Saadat, A civil activist and election expert, who is specialized both professionally and academically in Law, Political Science and International Relations, has recently been nominated on behalf of the Afghan Civil Society to the Afghan Government for IEC commissioner.

TEFA welcomes the new date for presidential elections if the government of Afghanistan agree on the key electoral reforms to be iimplemented in IEC and ECC.
