@ElsaJade3@theage Again, I do want to work and the company I work for is doing all they can to abide by social distancing restrictions. I agree with the articles sentiments that we should close stores to the public, yet offer click n collect from the parking lot thus reducing interactions
@ElsaJade3@theage I totally agree that your chances are a lot less at JB HIFI, but I also think that stores should be shut to the public with more emphasis put on online trade. I work because the company I work for has the correct protective measures in place. But thank you for all you do
@ElsaJade3@theage I would have thought as someone working with the frontline you would have commended any measures to ease the load on our healthcare system and thus those workers.
@ElsaJade3@theage I’m not asking you for your sympathy, I am quite happy going to work as I feel safe working in my small store. However I don’t think it’s right of you to critique those who don’t feel safe, yet aren’t able to simply resign or not work due to financial concerns.
@AnthonyCullen65@theage I work in retail and I can assure you- most people we see come in are purely there to browse because they “want to get out of the house”. It sucks, but it’s real.
@ElsaJade3@theage Yes. Ultimately safety comes before earning a wage. Those of us who work in retail shouldn’t have our safety put at risk because people would rather browse stores and get too close than abide by social distancing rules. Retailers should be kept safe too.
I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so hard at a meet and greet. Shout out to @tanhennessy and @christianhull for being quite possibly the nicest people I’ve ever met #VidConAU
Unbelievably blessed to have met @ThomasSanders!! You are the actual sweetest, thank you for making me happy for so many years!! All the love for you❤️ #vidconau
