🚨 𝗡𝗘𝗪: Etihad Airways will hire the BEST law firm in the world for arbitration to fight Manchester City's case vs. the Premier League.
Quinn Emanuel, a law firm based in Los Angeles, California, won a case vs. Apple this year, with Apple having to pay $5.7bn.
🚨🗣️| Unai Emery reacts to the financial fraud accusations targeting Manchester City:
“Many clubs inflate their budget. It’s known to everyone. Because to build a squad, you have to deal with the restrictions related to financial fair play.
“You also have to balance the finances between departures and arrivals. Now, it’s up to the tribunals to sort it out.
“What affects me is that people are talking about a team that played exceptionally well with Pep Guardiola…”

BREAKING: @ManCity statement. ⤵️
Manchester City Football Club can confirm that at 7pm on Thursday 1st October 2026 the Club lodged its comprehensive Appeal against the opinion of the Premier League Commission, in relation to the Premier League disciplinary matter.
The Club’s firm position is that, on multiple grounds, the opinion contains clear material errors, of law, principle and fact and is unsafe.
The Club is innocent of the accusations made by the Premier League and a comprehensive body of irrefutable evidence exists in support of all of its positions, relating to this case.
We will continue to respect due process and are necessarily restricted in what we can say further until all proceedings are complete.
Two senior executives at different top-level Premier League clubs have told Sky Sports News they would be “staggered” and “amazed” if there were 15 clubs ready to vote to expel Manchester City from the Premier League.
They didn't want to see or hear from Mancini and @etihad. Wasn't convenient for @premierleague despite being two of the main central characters in the hacked emails and the burden of proof being on their tribunal.
Man City owners basically boosted the economy by pumping an extra £900 million of there own money in to city, pretty sure tax was payed on that, they haven’t actually broke any laws, just stupid rules brought in to protect certain clubs, that’s my take on it
🚨💣 BREAKING : Le Premier ministre britannique, @AndyBurnham 🇬🇧 :

What's really sad - Man City have revolutionised East Manchester.
They've invested in people and been exemplary with infrastructure across all levels - Men's, women's, youth and community. Even the arena. They're plugged into Manchester.
Everyone should feel cheated by this.
Adam wants a PL controlled by white American billionaires, where only United, Liverpool, and Arsenal can win the title (preferably United). This point makes Adam uncomfortable (because it’s true).
Pep Guardiola has defiantly backed Manchester City over the club’s £920m cheating scandal.
“I want every single fan to know I am here; more than ever. I am, always have been, always will, be behind my club, my owner, my chairman, Ferran, the players, staff, Enzo and you, our unique supporters,” he wrote on X. “Let me be clear: we will get through this together. I love you all.”
