@teIantar menatap wajah—tangan—wajah—tanganmu secara bergantian. agak bingung maksudmu sekarang apa?
“taki? salam kenal. namaku masyadamsyah, panggil 'mas' saja!" senyum cerah merekah dulu.
“lalu, tanganmu ini kenapa? aku sedang tidak membawa emas untuk diberikan kepadamu!”
… She crossed her arms, letting out a sigh.
“—He won’t shut up about my appearance, so, yeah.”
There’s a sense of justification in her reason, but the guilt still gnaws her inside. It’s conflicting.
She knows she made a lot of noise, she always does, and it’s never on purpose.
“Sorry—I didn’t mean to,”
as the panic settles in, she can’t keep her words afloat, they stumble along with the unconscious man behind her.
“—Cause an incident like this, but—” …
She can feel the burning sensation broiling on her cheek, and she doesn’t need to look at the mirror to know what’s coming; the wound rapidly sealing shut, gushing out the glass fragments.
“Fuck.”
The pain never go undetected, and so the morbid sight.
What an introduction.
@asgodsplead … “I can walk, just—”
She lets out a sigh, hiding the embarrassment from surfacing—breaking her stoic composure, yet she lets the sound of stomach buzzing.
“—yeah.”
Great.
How generous of him to ask and how pathetic of her to assume her shortcomings would go unnoticed.
“No.”
There’s shame broiling inside of her; has she come to the point where she lets her helplessness surfacing?
She lets out a sigh, chasing for his gaze, …
@2DimensiMenfess ㅤ“Sister,” calmly spoken into the withering strands of life, the safely kept distance was then cut as he approached her. “You look unwell. Have you eaten, at all?”
@asgodsplead There’s a moment silenece, her gaze lays on his hand; how many lives he had saved before? All with a simple gesture.
“Thank you.”
She wanted to learn not to be alone, to trust, so she takes his hand, propelling her legs to stand up, shaking the worry off her being. …
Once in a while,
when fate twisted in painful way,
and life left her bled out,
she wished, life was much easier,
life offered her more options,
better ones for her to choose.
It was hard at first,
impossible to bear even, but as the time hardens her skin, everything started to get simple; less painful, tolerable.
She never complained about it,
or at least tried not to complain about it,
but she was only a human after all.
