#WATCH | On entering Telangana politics, Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan says, "I was not focusing on Telangana... My primary focus is on Andhra Pradesh, but I am a very strong cadre... I have been in politics since 2007 and even before that, I had staunch Telangana youth who stuck to me... I'm not interested in contesting from Telangana. I'm committed to the growth of Telangana through my leaders and cadre..."

He also says, "It is quite strange to me that, unlike BRS, a national party initiated a regional bias... their leaders continued to send some fringe elements, who kept on telling me that you cannot step into Hyderabad. In my own country, in my motherland, no one has the right to tell me whether I should come there or not... I'm not asking anyone's permission. And that is the reason I said, this is not your 'Jagir'. And I addressed this only to those who tell me, 'I would not let you in'."
