సెట్స్‌పైకి కూడా వెళ్లని పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ డ్రీమ్ ప్రాజెక్ట్... "ప్రిన్స్ ఆఫ్ పీస్" వెనుక ఆసక్తికరమైన కథ!

పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ కెరీర్‌లో అత్యంత ప్రతిష్టాత్మక ప్రాజెక్ట్‌లలో " ప్రిన్స్ ఆఫ్ పీస్ " ఒకటి. 2010లో అధికారికంగా ప్రకటించిన ఈ సినిమా చివరకు సెట్స్‌పైకి కూడా వెళ్లకుండానే ఆగిపోయింది. అయితే ఈ ప్రాజెక్ట్ వెనుక జరిగిన పరిణామాలు చాలా ఆసక్తికరంగా ఉంటాయి.

ప్రముఖ దర్శకుడు సింగీతం శ్రీనివాసరావు దర్శకత్వంలో, నిర్మాత కొండా కృష్ణంరాజు నిర్మాణంలో ఈ చిత్రాన్ని తెరకెక్కించాలని నిర్ణయించారు. యేసుక్రీస్తు జీవితం, ఆయన బోధనలు, అద్భుతాల నేపథ్యాన్ని ఆధారంగా చేసుకుని ఒక విభిన్నమైన కథను రూపొందించారు.
zఈ కథను సింగీతం శ్రీనివాసరావు, ప్రముఖ రచయిత జె.కె. భారవి కలిసి దాదాపు రెండేళ్ల పాటు సిద్ధం చేశారు. ఈ సినిమా కోసం వారు బైబిల్‌తో పాటు యేసుక్రీస్తు జీవితానికి సంబంధించిన అనేక పుస్తకాలను అధ్యయనం చేశారు.

ఈ చిత్రంలో పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ ప్రధాన పాత్రలో కనిపించాల్సి ఉండగా, ఆయన పాత్ర పూర్తి స్థాయి జీసస్ పాత్ర కాదని, కథలో కీలకమైన ప్రత్యేక పాత్రగా ఉండేదని తర్వాత సింగీతం స్వయంగా వెల్లడించారు. అప్పట్లో పవన్ కళ్యాణ్‌ను ఒక ఆర్కిటెక్ట్ పాత్రలో చూపించనున్నారని కూడా వార్తలు వచ్చాయి.

హీరోయిన్‌గా అనుష్క శెట్టి ని ఎంపిక చేసి ఆమెతో ఒప్పందం కూడా కుదుర్చుకున్నట్లు అప్పట్లో ప్రచారం జరిగింది. "అరుంధతి"లో ఆమె నటన చూసిన సింగీతం, ఈ చిత్రంలో దేవదూత తరహా పాత్రకు అనుష్క సరిపోతారని భావించినట్లు సినీ వర్గాల్లో వార్తలు వినిపించాయి.

ఈ చిత్రాన్ని తెలుగు, హిందీ, తమిళం, మలయాళం, ఇంగ్లీష్ భాషల్లో ఒక భారీ పాన్ ఇండియా ప్రాజెక్ట్‌గా రూపొందించాలని ప్లాన్ చేశారు. అందులో భాగంగా పవన్ కళ్యాణ్, సింగీతం శ్రీనివాసరావు, నిర్మాత కొండా కృష్ణంరాజుతో పాటు చిత్ర బృందం ఇజ్రాయెల్, జెరూసలేం, జోర్డాన్, బెత్లహేం ప్రాంతాలను సందర్శించి లొకేషన్లు పరిశీలించింది. జీసస్ జీవితానికి సంబంధించిన చారిత్రక ప్రదేశాలను ప్రత్యక్షంగా అధ్యయనం చేసి సినిమాను అత్యంత సహజంగా తెరకెక్కించాలని భావించారు. పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ అయితే దీన్ని డ్రీమ్ ప్రాజెక్ట్ గా పేర్కొన్నారు .

అన్ని సిద్ధమై సినిమా త్వరలోనే ప్రారంభమవుతుందని భావిస్తున్న సమయంలో ఈ ప్రాజెక్ట్ అకస్మాత్తుగా ఆగిపోయింది. ప్రధాన కారణం బడ్జెట్. మొదట అంచనా వేసిన వ్యయం కంటే నిర్మాణ ఖర్చు భారీగా పెరగడంతో నిర్మాత కొండా కృష్ణంరాజు ప్రాజెక్ట్‌ను కొనసాగించడం కష్టమని భావించారు. సింగీతం శ్రీనివాసరావు కూడా అదే అభిప్రాయానికి రావడంతో చిత్రాన్ని నిలిపివేయాలని నిర్ణయించారు. అలానే రెండేళ్లు స్క్రిప్ట్ వర్క్ కొనసాగడంతో పవన్ కూడా ఈ ప్రాజెక్ట్ మీద ఆసక్తి చూపలేదు .

ఇలా భారీ స్థాయిలో ప్లాన్ చేసిన ఈ ప్రతిష్టాత్మక చిత్రం... ప్రకటనలు, లొకేషన్ రికీలు, ప్రీ-ప్రొడక్షన్ వరకు మాత్రమే పరిమితమై, తెలుగు సినిమా చరిత్రలో సెట్స్‌పైకి కూడా వెళ్లని అత్యంత ఆసక్తికరమైన ప్రాజెక్ట్‌లలో ఒకటిగా మిగిలిపోయింది. #PawanKalyan #PrinceOfPeace
