Another day, another @IndianExpress break on the EC.

Sept 23. Our investigation breaks. The EC responds the same day: its platforms are protected against "unauthorized tampering", and EROs "function as per statutory powers."

What we didn't know was this.

The very next day, Maharashtra's Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) wrote to the EC in Delhi asking for FOUR changes to ECINet, so EROs could use the discretion the law already gives them.

The same concern Election Commissioners Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi had put on record.

Having seen CCTV footage, kid's parents and his lawyer should be ashmed. They used their kid for extortion, taking his dignity. They made people to mass hate his kid. They made his kid die as cheater rather than student. Have shame and just shut up. #IITB

The Kid n His dad has created so much drama that people are mocking even on kid's death. His father should have chosen dignity. Should have stick to truth. But they chose SC/ST act to undo his n collective failure. The irony is his father himself led mass hate for his kid. #IITB

Incidents like this creates more exclusive groups of each community n class and divide further. The disintegration keeps happening failing the same reservation scheme. It never help integrate people from different background, instead people themseleves divide. #IITB
