@CNRG_ZIM@freebhoso@RutendoChirume2@Its_CynthiaRue I am glad to be part of this cohort and sharing my experience from Hwange where mining is posing dangers to locals. From coal seam fires, dust pollution to social impacts mining is causing untold suffering. this is an opportunity to learn and share experiences with other youths
“From mined-out lands to climate-resilient futures.”
Day 2 of the Natural Resource Governance and Accountability School explored how sustainable governance, environmental protection, and community empowerment are key to transforming extractive landscapes.
Through powerful exchanges, participants examined how communities — especially youth — can take the lead in restoring degraded ecosystems, holding polluters accountable, and shaping climate-resilient, people-centered alternatives.
