I STILL MAKE ALL MY SHIT ON A 2012 MACBOOK PRO WITH A COPY OF ABLETON 10, MY LAPTOP IS MY GOD, SHE IS PERFECT, DON’T FALL FOR THE “YOU NEED CRAZY EQUIPMENT TO MAKE MUSIC” SHIT, AUDIO ELITISTS WILL HAVE YOU SPENDING £3K JUST TO MAKE MID LIQUID DNB
anyway in the end i sold out and became a moderately successful loopmaker haha
that helped me learn the skills to actually bring visions like this to life but alas it’s not 2012 & i’m not that guy anymore
anyway, let your art out.
even if it is weird and executed poorly
🫶🏻
checked my spotify wrapped for artists
most listened thing?
a 2-track EP of aggressive genre-bending glitchy progressive bass music from 2012
deffo the most “artsy” thing i did under this alias
atrocious mixdowns but conceptually i’m still proud of it
i did laugh tho haha
i barely knew what i was doing, but i was doing it all-in
it’s fun to reminisce over something i did so long ago tho.
i still don’t really understand what i was doing with this, why it came out of me or why i was so all-in on it

X please I get the free speech thing,
but my fyp is like 80% right-wing/racism/antisemitism/vaccines/conspiracies
and 20% dubstep/bass music
i don't even follow any right wing accounts 😭😭😭
this is essentially what my 2023 tracks were trying to combat
i set out to make modern-ish sounding dubstep that only drew inspiration from older dubstep or genres that dubstep was initially formed from
nobody really gave a shit but i’m glad i did it
i feel bad about how little knowledge of dubstep history seemed to have been preserved among people in the community today. artists producing different styles and not having a clear idea where they originated from, or just assuming that they came from whoevers popular rn
@TowerInfero hah yea i don’t get much time for it now, i’m usually working on other peoples stuff. just wanted to throw those out there for the culture, glad some people liked it but i had no expectations
