I can currently do 8 strict pull-ups. At my weight, that is impressive. If I dropped 40lbs it could be 50%+ more.
I think 15 to 20 is the strength required for a kipping muscle up.
My goal for this year: 1 kipping muscle up
This requires getting stronger and leaner.
Strength is through calisthenics and compound lifts.
Lean is from GLP1 and cardio.
Specific sub goals, focused on the weekly work:
5K training
2X pull-ups
1X+ core lifts
Startup Idea: Zimmer Running
- Run tracker
- License the Hans Zimmer movie score oeuvre
- Play with time, like running against yourself, or hitting your foot strike bpm
- allow community remixes for distance/time targets, like a 15min+/- 5K playlist
I'm such a terrible runner that after my second run this year on the same distance I shaved off 7% of my time while cutting 6 bpm off my average HR. Maybe analytics is what would actually get me into running.
The current administration has failed to pass a bill protecting abortion in the first trimester nationally. I expected more from such an experienced Senator.
Describe the change in managing compromise in congress, or you shouldn't vote because of this issue.
I really need to get more consistent on strength training.
I'm still doing 531. Just did bench 215 1x, which is a bit weaker than peak.
On calithetics I'm focusing on pushups and pull-ups. Just did 25 across 10 small sets with 30s rest.
We must accelerate.
