I think Jackson is the better player currently and can add a lot to the team based on hisbstrengths especially if he is also tried out wide on the LW or as an inside Forward under Alonso
BUT
I think Delap’s season was usurped by that injury and then not being able to settle in and lost confidence and so under Alonso he could be a different beast
BUT
I think it will come down to WHAT OFFERS THE CLUB RECEIVES for both players. We know Italian clubs are interested in jackson but those guys are miserly and I doubt they can match our demands. But if anyone offers above £50m pounds for Jackson i think the club will be tempted to sell. Remember the club already made £16.5m off Bayern for his loan last season.
For Delap, he will automatically attract attention from mid table sides, and teams returning from the championship and i think £40m plus offers would be very temptful for the team
Bottomline is that if both impress Alonso in preseason, it will come down to the money offered
I Personally lean towards Jackson but I am also not closed to Delap getting a new opportunity

Estêvão: “I think it’s very important for a player to have goals. I have my goals, I have my ambitions. I have goals with the group, which today is Chelsea, and I have personal goals as well.
It’s important to focus on what you want, build your path around that and follow it. I have my ambitions and I’m working very hard to make them happen. I don’t know if it will be possible or not, but they’re there and that’s the plan I’m going to follow.”
