@DrF117Nighthawk Well, there’s a good reason for it? Under 100k you aren’t a net tax payer. You don’t actually contribute back to society more than you put it, and this is widely known and understood?
@DrSarahAxelrath@GovofCO You understand this continues to kill small and large business alike in CO. Idk what ur ulterior motive is, but it can’t be great
@team_dan_69@PuckFupett69@fearthe_void No I’m asking because you called this guy’s tax burden “unremarkable” (which is strange and mean). Yet, he’s a “net taxpayer”. Are you? I’m asking if you live in a glass house, or if you’re just not old enough to know what it feels like to pay for your own things yet.
@tsu17nami@Carthelan_@VertexFan Brother I promise I have spent more on SS by 30 than 99% of boomers did. If I could give it up to stop SS I would because I’m not retarded, I understand I was paying a “boomer day care” tax”, not a “save for my retirement tax” the entire time, and because I care about my kids.
@Rossputin Denver failed pretty hard to keep people at my office from moving. I’m definitely eyeing it now, esp if my taxes double. Real shame because Denver has a ton of potential to be attractive to a lot of people
@arvindpawan1 We should make these paths open via community college again where it’s not only affordable, but achievable. Can’t have that if the gov hands out free money to university industrial complex
Almost all of these degrees should be two year degrees. They should be cheap and affordable. The idea of needing a 4 or 6 year degree to be a teacher or a social worker is absurd and harmful to both society and the individuals caught up in it
Trump is banning students majoring in degrees that don’t make enough money from taking out college loans. Degrees for social work, art, religious studies, teaching aides, and music will be hit the hardest. https://t.co/6tV30STfyc
@electionsjoe Why do you think this ends those degrees? It doesn’t, it just means people who previously racked up 300k for a social work degree at NYU will have to go in-state or *gasp* to a community college!
@LOsaParks Why is this bad? Seems like it will help the student debt problem quite a lot? People always complain that they “didn’t know”, well, this solves that problem?
