The Dutch people honor their World War II liberators by lighting candles on Christmas Eve at all the war graves.
At the ๐จ๐ฆ Canadian cemetery in Groesbeek, thanks to hundreds of volunteers, a candle has been lit at each of the 2619 graves, and will stay burning tomorrow.
To those we loved and lost,
To those who served and never came home,
To those who continue to serve,
Today on #RemembranceDay, and every day in between,
We will remember them.
Going to be a great week for sports in Boston. I have two tickets to the @usopengolf, tickets to the @RedSox game and this signed bag for one lucky Boston fan. Retweet to win.
@DarrenWHaynes I remember it well. Was in the CAF at Borden. All of us western boys took over the lounge in the barracks for the series and absolutely loved it. Great series.
An important reminder from Canadian hockey legend @wick_22 to stay connected to the people who are most important to you. For each retweet of this video, we will donate $10 to @CMHA_NTL, up to $200,000, in support of mental health initiatives across Canada. #FuelWhatMatters
Thank you, Veterans, for your service and sacrifice. Today at 11:00 am, no matter where you are, please pause to observe two minutes of silence.
