In 2024, 10-year-old Sammy Teusch of Greenfield, Indiana, tragically passed away after his family says he endured relentless bullying at school over his glasses and teeth.
According to his parents, the bullying continued until the very end. They say they contacted the school around 20 times, asking officials to step in, but their concerns went unanswered.
The family says Sammy experienced both verbal and physical bullying
“They were making fun of him for his glasses in the beginning, then on to make fun of his teeth. It went on for a long time,” his father said.
“I held him in my arms. I did the thing no father should ever have to do, and anytime I close my eyes, it's all I can see.”
