@MaximusRavel Chennai was developed in Telugu land since beginning and Tamils migrated post its development since early 19th century. Eventually it's pulled away from Telugus post bifurcation, isn't the same happened to Telugu there?! You can't even stay in your capital if you think that way!

All telugus in TN from Chennai to Kanyakumari are migrants, some came during Vijayanagara & many escaped to TN coz of muslim invasion.

But AP has native Tamils in South AP, where telugus changed demographics & occupied recently. So Tamil should be made official in AP before TN.

Breaking: Inscription Found (c. 14th CE)

Kondaveedu Fort convener, Kalli Siva Reddy, while trekking Rudrapada peak found this on the doorway of an ancient Siva temple’s sanctum. The inscription appears to continue to an earlier June inscription.

Preliminary readings record a perpetual land grant of four puttis designated for cattle grazing and permanent enjoyment near Pedalangali to the revered guru Tapanacharya, measured with the Pachigampati 48 foot rod.

Details have been submitted to ASI Epigraphy Director K. Muniratnam Reddy for decipherment.
