🇵🇰 Pakistan is cracking down hard ahead of Imran Khan's march on Islamabad, and 2 families tied to his party say they were targeted.

Punjab PTI leader Raja Shahbaz Bhatti says police broke down his gate and searched his home last night.

Separately, KPK Assembly Speaker Babar Saleem Swati says his nephew, Kamal Saleem Swati, survived a deadly attack and an attempted kidnapping, and has released CCTV footage of the incident.

The march, which is planned for Sunday, is demanding Khan's release, and the government is pulling out every stop to keep it from happening.

Punjab, Pakistan's most populous province, has banned any gathering of 5 or more people in public for the next 13 days, citing intelligence warnings of possible suicide bombings and car bombs at large crowds.

Islamabad is already on lockdown, mobile and internet service is set to be cut in neighboring Rawalpindi, and reports say roads into the capital will be blocked with shipping containers and trenches, with bus routes suspended.

For a march the government says it isn't worried about, it's going to a lot of trouble.

The ongoing PTI Askari drama over the 27th September 2026 long march, active since 5 August, is rapidly nearing expiry with no remaining viability.

#KRBT stays firmly linked to Imran Khan Saab's loyal ground workers. Our prior spaces have already detailed every scenario. Jamaat-e-Islami’s train march has halted amid shifting conditions and will stay inactive until October on ISI instructions. ISI train is now redirected toward Karachi. PTI Askari proceeds on the 27th bait, the initiative has been handed to PTI Askari to advance the long march while others join later.
A deal may soon secure the release of Imran Khan Saab's sisters and arrested PTI workers and members, without mentioning Khan Saab’s own release, only a hospital transfer under ISI watch, framed as compliance with Supreme Court orders.

#KRBT will close the province. By Allah’s plan, KPK is shutting itself down, highways, motorways and GT roads will be on stand still. Authority has left Sohail Afridi, the Peshawar Sector Commander now directs the IG and Chief Secretary. KPK police are arresting their own ground workers. The Sector Commander has advanced Governor’s Rule Sohail Afridi continues trapping people. All senior KPK officials and Askari PTI operate under ISI. Assembly members risk arrest and may be shifted tonight. Advice to reverse Governor’s Rule was deferred by Afridi until after the 27th. Containers are relocating to #KRBT blockade points. Gandapur meetings continue. Workers now recognise reality and are returning to #KRBT
