A concept that changed my life.
The FOREST Framework:
F: Following your purpose
O: Optimal health
R: Rich relationships
E: Expanding your mind
S: Spiritual growth
T: Thriving finances
Here’s how I use it →
What does the end look like? What exactly are you trying to accomplish?
Firstly figure that out, then work backward to set up the goals / tasks / habits / routines / systems you need to get there.
Most people do it the other way round.
Don't be most people.
To see results, you need the compounding effect of consistency.
To maintain consistency, you need to repeatedly show up and do the work.
To show up repeatedly, you need to be comfortable with boredom.
Therefore, you cannot get results without being comfortable with boredom.
My main objective this weekend was to set up a knowledge management system in Obsidian.
I'm 90% done and here's what the graph view looks like right now:
(Yes, I use Obsidian, Notion and Twitter in light mode 💀)
An easy way to confirm if you're on the right path is to look at people who are way ahead of you on that same path.
Ask yourself, 'Do I want the life they have?'
If you do, then by all means, keep going.
If not, you need to change something ASAP.

In case you're wondering what this is, here's a YouTube video by @NickMilo you can start with. It might just change your life 🤷🏽♂️

Great things happen when you rub minds with like-minded people.
Just got off a call with @SageCincade. Key lessons:
Focus your energy on consistent day-to-day actions.
Think in years instead of weeks.
Leave the rest to the power of compounding.
The scariest and most liberating realization - You are solely responsible for the results you get.
Scary because if you end up with a life you hate, there’s no one else to blame but you.
Liberating because you literally possess the power to create the reality that you want.
Where you are now may not look like what you planned.
However, consider it a season of training rather than suffering.
A time to build your faith, skills, work ethic, and trust His plan.
This too shall pass.
Progress is not always linear. There will be times when you slip up or fall off course. It happens to everybody.
Acknowledging your mistakes and getting back on track is what matters most.
Switch your perspective from ‘When I finally get X, I'll be happy’ to ‘I got one step closer to getting X today, so I'm happy.’
Good things take time. So focus on the seeds you plant, and the harvest will be bountiful.
If you found this insightful, you’ll enjoy reading this week's newsletter, where I have explained these points in more detail.
Check it out. The link is in my bio.
Or I could take a different approach.
“Yes, the content I uploaded didn’t do so well. Most people stopped watching after the first 30 seconds. Okay, I’m going to experiment with different hooks to see which ones perform best in my next videos.”
