Every time Law School examination results are released, it takes me back to the day I got mine. The joy and relief are incomparable, and I am reminded of the journey, the grit, the days of uncertainty, and the prayers it took to overcome.
So, congratulations! Well done! Take a moment to soak it in. You are about to become a lawyer! This is not just a result; it is the reward for your discipline, your sacrifices, your hard work and your resilience. And I am so proud of you!
To those who haven't made it this time, this is not the end of your story. The burden of disappointment will be heavy but please do not let it weigh you down. Do not let this moment define you. You are not a failure. You will succeed, and your place at the Bar is waiting for you.
I am rooting for every one of you.
Warm regards to you all!

When women rise, society gains. In celebrating International Women’s Month, I pay tribute to Dame Priscilla Olabori Kuye, SAN a trailblazer whose resilience, leadership, and dedication to justice continue to inspire the legal profession. Her legacy reminds us that true leadership is measured not only by personal achievement but by the doors opened for others. Throughout March, we will continue to celebrate remarkable women whose lives embody the spirit of Give To Gain.
Give To Gain reminds us that investing in women is one of the most powerful catalysts for progress. When women are given access to education, opportunity, and leadership, the benefits extend far beyond individuals strengthening families, transforming communities, and advancing institutions for generations to come.

GUARDIANS OF JUSTICE: SALUTING WOMEN JUDGES ON THE INTERNATIONAL DAY OF WOMEN JUDGES.
On this special occasion of the International Day of Women Judges, I celebrate the remarkable women who adorn the Bench and continue to uphold the sacred ideals of justice with courage, wisdom, and integrity.
As a legal practitioner, I take immense pride in the invaluable contributions of our female judges whose dedication to fairness and the rule of law strengthens public confidence in the judiciary. Your resilience, intellectual depth, and unwavering commitment to justice serve not only as pillars of our legal system but also as a beacon of inspiration to young women aspiring to walk the path of law and leadership.
Today, I honour your sacrifices, celebrate your achievements, and commend your steadfast service to humanity through the noble duty of dispensing justice.
May your wisdom continue to illuminate the halls of justice, and may your legacy inspire generations of women to rise, lead, and serve.
Happy International Day of Women Judges.

@Pamilerin I think it all started just because Simi decided to speak against rape. So they are trying to poke holes into her character.
And that’s crazy. If it was genuine analysis of her character I think it’s fair but knowing the basis of this scrutiny is what I think is crazier.
I became a lawyer 12 years ago and here are some career pathways some of my colleagues who graduated with me have taken.
ps: these are from my circle.
1. Finance: They opted for an MBA instead of an LLB and are now a VP in one of the biggest investment banks in the world.
