The above quote from Mao Zedong’s principle of guerrilla warfare remains relevant to modern day politics. Loosely translated, it means that a politician
must operate in the public sphere as seamlessly as fish move through water.
This week has been about visiting the smallest settlements of Maun North that
seldom get the attention of national leaders and public servants. I sat among them, listened to their concerns, offered them my counsel and we established a workable consensus on the way forward. Some of those that could not make it to the designated meeting places, we visited them at their homesteads and made time to hear their concerns.
Thanks to everyone who came out to engage with us, 𝗥𝗲 𝗨𝘁𝗹𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗼 𝗬𝗮 𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗮.

For the sake of your children, who each morning must wake up and go to school, stop insulting education.
Somehow you have grown accustomed to insulting education as a way to make your arguments. Very tragic culture I must say!
There is no pride in being an ignorant people!
You can perfectly disagree with anyone without insulting education.
Why would you want to breed an education hating nation?
Unless of course, you are working with those who have benefited for centuries out of keeping Africans ignorant!

Karl Sander’s BackaBuddy campaign went from a R5,000 goal to over R40,000 in less than 12 hours.
After today’s testimony, I don’t think South Africans are just donating to a campaign.
I think they are responding to a man who finally let us see what those years cost him 💔
🚨 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: More than 2 million fans have attended the Arsenal parade today!
There isn't even room to walk. Media from all over the world are here. Gabriel is dancing. Arteta has a cigar in hand.
This is LARGEST parade in Football history!
@Bee_Pee_Lu Embarrassed about what? losing a CL final on penalties to arguably the best team in Europe at the moment? Do you people watch football to complain, or are you only interested in winning?
Piers Morgan on the Arsenal loss in the UCL Final:
🗣️ “I’m trying to be objective, but I simply don’t understand how that challenge on Madueke wasn’t given as a penalty.
In a Champions League final, with VAR available, those are the moments that define everything. You can’t just ignore them.
Arsenal went toe-to-toe with PSG for large parts of this game, they weren’t outplayed they were competitive, organised, and brave.
But at this level, it only takes one big decision to swing a final.
Arsenal fans aren’t asking for favours… they’re asking for consistency. And tonight, they didn’t get it.”
🚨🎙️Wayne Rooney: “Arsenal have been robbed tonight” 🤯
Rooney 🗣️ “I’ll be completely honest, Arsenal were absolutely robbed tonight, there is no other way to put it. You look at that foul on Noni Madueke in the box; it’s a stonewall, 100% clear penalty. How the referee or VAR hasn't given that is beyond me, and it completely changes the dynamic of a Champions League final.
But for me, the moment that truly gave it away the moment you knew exactly what the referee was doing was that halftime whistle. To blow the whistle right as Arsenal are literally standing there about to take a corner? I’ve played this game a long time, and you rarely see that unless there’s a blatant bias. It was shocking, and it set the tone for everything that followed.
In the second half, it became a totally different game, and not because of the football. The referee made absolutely sure that every single 50/50 call, every little nudge, and every major decision went straight to PSG. It completely killed Arsenal’s momentum. But to be fair, I’m not even surprised. We saw the exact same story when they played Bayern Munich earlier in the tournament. The officiating was heavily skewed then, and it’s happened again on the biggest stage.
PSG might be lifting the trophy, but they cannot honestly look at themselves in the mirror and be proud of the way they’ve won this final. To win the biggest prize in club football like that? It leaves a horrible taste. Arsenal deserved so much more tonight.”
