@AboutSnezhnaya It really hurts to say, but as I have C6 Yae and C2 Cyno already, I swapped from getting C2 Nilou to... C6 Qiqi. Inconceivable just a few days ago.
C6 Qiqi is both really really good now and opens me up to getting more Masterless fortunas. So.
@marlowdurbin@FreddyLA7 Ha, I mentioned this in another comment. Some of the most beautiful beaches in the world and very few people (comparatively) know about them.
@FreddyLA7 It's a shame you can't swing just a little south to catch the Gulf Coast, say around Gulf Shores/Orange Beach, and then take I-10 through Mobile.
Not only are those some of the best beaches in the world, you'll drive right by an actual WWII battleship in Mobile!
@frthegratergood The only thing the Timber Wolf really lacks is endurance. Its prime config has the bare minimum ammunition to justify the LRM20's.
It's one of the most frighteningly optimized stock mechs in Battletech otherwise, especially for the era in which its most prominent.
@TomcatJunkie Maneuverability doesn't have the same place it used to in A2A regimes, but being at the right place at the right time is still a big factor in successful A2A engagements.
@TomcatJunkie I think the problem with that kind of strategy is the B-21 doesn't have the speed. To intercept enemy aircraft, maximize range of air to air missiles, and GTFO when the noose is closing, a fighter sometimes just needs speed a subsonic bomber lacks, even with low-observability.
@AlexLuck9 Battlemaster. It's more of a heavy Heavy than an Assault, has the same ground speed as most Heavies, but reliably packs a punch. The BLR-1P with ECM and Medium Pulses is a fantastic command mech.
@DeltyThe73rd Welcome to Battletech!
If you're looking at games, Mechwarrior 5 Mercenaries with all the DLC is quite possibly the most comprehensive Battletech related videogame of all time and is *really* popping off on JP mecha Twitter right now.
@AlistairTDL@MW5Mercs According to the recent interview on Sarna, Mason was born in 2996, so he's in his 50's during the Clan invasion. They also mentioned that the average lifespan on Terra is 150 and there are multiple known mechwarriors still piloting in their 80's, so Mason has plenty of runway.
@stewak2@azmark99921960@RealAirPower1 Not only is it a much simpler change, the engines chosen are literally the most common small diameter turbofans used on business class jets today. Well proven, reliable, and relatively cheap to service and replace.
@SayaDoesStuff If it were me, I'd mask that. It's a fairly simple shape. Build a skinny solid 'A' triangle and then carefully edge around it and fill out the inside. It would take a lot of patience, but I've done finer masking work in HG.
@jailedamanda Most tornadoes in the US generally track roughly west to east, and the guy in the video indicates they're looking south.
Probably why they all seem so unpanicked.
I know a lot of people in the fandom likes to classify Schwarz Bruder from G Gundam as a Char clone, because masked rival guy in a gundam show, but he's so Racer X (from Speed Racer) coded to the point it's not even funny
@TonyDi101 @InsiderWire In addition to the other comments re: the nacelles, the MV-75 has a much bigger wingspan and rotor diameter, allowing it to actually glide or autorotate in the event of a mechanical failure. The V-22 was compromised because it had to fold up and fit in hangars aboard ships.
@awoogagawooga @TheIllugaFreak They're also measuring Nicole's floor to Bennett's ceiling. Any amount of investing into Nicole (signature or cons) and she grossly outscales him.
I think she could still use some buffing in this post-lunar meta, but I also think looking at C0R0 isn't the full picture anymore.
@Flyingdebrisguy I'm so sorry! You defined the whole design language of modern Battletech, and the franchise wouldn't be around today without your art.
Your work is an inspiration. I believe someone with your talent and vision can land on their feet, even as bleak as the job market is today.
