Fruché's SS27 collection, “Kleg,” felt like one of the most personal presentations at Berlin Fashion Week this season. Frank Aghuno leaned into the beauty of what makes us different.

The exaggerated proportions, uneven silhouettes and sculptural details that defined the parts of our bodies we're often taught to hide, while reworked school-uniform, handwoven Aso Oke and Adire connected those ideas to memories of childhood and Nigerian craftsmanship.

The collection took the Nigerian Pidgin word often used to describe something "not quite right" and completely flipped its meaning, turning it into a celebration of individuality and self-acceptance.

What really stood out was how every look had a purpose.
